M-W ROV Underwater Drones Description

The M-W ROV Underwater Drones is a maritime-grade underwater robot built around QYSEA Technology‘s fully self-developed Q-DVL sonar sensor module. Designed on the Doppler Shift principle, the M-W ROV Underwater Drones achieves deep integration of hardware and software, redefining the boundaries of DVL applications for professional maritime inspection and operations.

Powered by advanced deep learning neural networks, the M-W ROV Underwater Drones integrates Q-DVL data with the ROV’s accelerometer, depth sensor, magnetometer, and gyroscope. This synergy equips the M-W ROV Underwater Drones with U-INS (Underwater Inertial Navigation System), Station Lock Hovering, smart collision avoidance, and real-time distance and altitude lock—pushing beyond the limits of traditional underwater operations.

The M-W ROV Underwater Drones features the globally pioneering Tri-beam Inline Q-DVL, designed with a fluid-inspired concept that breaks free from traditional DVL form limitations. With integrated speed and distance measurement, the M-W ROV Underwater Drones seamlessly merges IMU and multi-sensor data, enhancing autonomy and agility across vertical underwater structures and complex subsea environments.

M-W ROV Underwater Drones

For maritime professionals, the M-W ROV Underwater Drones delivers:

Vertical U-INS – expands inspection capabilities and precision

Forward Station Lock Hovering – stable positioning in currents

10cm Macro Focus Distance – detailed close-up inspection

Forward Collision Avoidance – reduces risk during close-up work

Distance Lock & Track – reliable, steady inspections

The M-W ROV Underwater Drones also features an innovative Four-beam Q-DVL, seamlessly adapted for diverse ROV models. With advanced manufacturing processes, the downward Q-DVL significantly enhances station lock and hover capability, giving the M-W ROV Underwater Drones a height range of 0.1m to 100m for station lock hovering.

Additional capabilities of the M-W ROV Underwater Drones include U-INS and mission planning for efficient automated inspections, bathymetric mapping with 2D and 3D map outputs, smart collision avoidance for enhanced safety, and altitude lock and track for precise operations. The M-W ROV Underwater Drones also supports 360° omnidirectional station lock hovering without dead angles and real-time distance and altitude lock for precision tasks.
