Structure and Composition: ACRYSPHERE® JM are core-shell structured thermo expandable microspheres with diameters ranging from 10 to 50 micrometers. The core encapsulates low-boiling-point hydrocarbons, while the outer shell is made of thermoplastic polymers.
Thermo expandable Microspheres Mechanism: Upon heating, the outer shell of the thermo expandable microspheres gradually softens, and the core material vaporizes, generating internal pressure that causes the microspheres to expand tens to hundreds of times in volume, achieving highly efficient foaming.

Applications: These thermo expandable microspheres are suitable for lightweight materials, thermal insulation coatings, sealants, and texture thickening, providing a uniform and stable microporous foam structure.
Customizable Performance: Through formulation and process optimization, thermo expandable microspheres can have their expansion initiation temperature (T-shirt) and maximum expansion temperature (T-max) adjustable to adapt to different processing conditions and material systems.
